I believe that beauty lies in ones thinking (really!!)...BUT this is for others

I have often seen poets running out of words while describing beauty. Below is my effort to help those struggling poets and South Indian bachelors like me (without girl friends) to express ourselves better. Use only in written form, because when spoken she might not understand it.

Svelte

Meaning: gracefully slender in figure
Origin: svelte (Italian)
Pronunciation: sfelt
Usage: Actress Eva Mendes arrives at the 2007 Hollywood Foreign Press Association Luncheon, posing briefly and showing off her svelte figure.
Prescription: Better than slim. Has a positive connotation, while slim means thinner than normal.

Zaftig

Meaning: having a pleasant plump figure
Origin: zaftik (Yiddish)
Pronunciation: zahftik
Usage: a generation ago zaftig (buxom) actresses were popular
Prescription: Use it very carefully, as vogue is not to be zaftig. You may be dumped if not put across correctly.
